چکیده

In dyadic interaction, a verbal focus on one individual (“you-talk,” “I-talk”), rather than the couple (“we-talk”) has predominantly been linked to dysfunctional relationship processes. However, context differences in these links have not yet systematically examined. Is it functional asymmetrically partner during support interactions but problematic conflict? Does high level of couple-focus represent resource across contexts? this preregistered study, we investigated dyad-level pronoun use (we-/I-/you-talk) and their link situational functioning (SRF) three interaction tasks (one conflict, two coping tasks) within couples ( N = 365). More specifically, examined associations couple-means, i.e. as shared resource/vulnerability between partners, couple-differences, functional/dysfunctional asymmetric with observed positivity climate. Results revealed both similarities. Asymmetric partner-focus (i.e. you-talk) was whereas partner- self-focus (i.e., you-talk/I-talk; stressed partner) were coping. Beyond asymmetry, you-talk (couple-mean) showed consistent negative SRF all studied. We-talk positively SRF, only conflict interactions. thus represented that can buffer from characterized by partner-focus. line conceptual frameworks, results emphasize importance focusing need. The study corroborates prospect context-specific indicator functioning. Gender differences, implications for future research possible interventions are discussed.

Do You Feel What I Hear ?

In this research we implemented three different methods for presenting scientific graphs to blind and visually impaired people. Each rendering method employed either audition, kinesthetic or a combination of those two modalities. In order to allow for distance learning, we have used low cost portable devices for the output graph rendering. The three modes of representation were then compared by...
